Safety Qualifications:
All safety divers are certified AIDA depth competition safety diver with experience in depth competition.
Safety plan:
2 safety diver is assigned at the warm up zone
3 dedicated safety diver assigned on the competition line.
Before the competition
1. Training and Performance assimilation to be conducted with all Safety, Medic, Judge and staff members to simulate all possible freediving scenarios
2. Emergency supplies and equipment needed for medical care are available on site and ready for use.
3. All member of the team are already in place/assigned zone 2 hours before the competition.
During the competition
- Coastguards are present on the competition venue
- Standby ambulance from LGU is stationed at Coco Chelo Cabins where evacuation/extraction of athlete that needs urgent medical care will be carried out.
- Partner Hospital is Camillus Mabini General Hospital which is approximately 8-10 minutes drive.
- External first aid staff with oxygen supply, basic life and advanced life support skills and treatment supplies and equipment are prepared in case if emergency
